About Sally C

How do I describe myself, I am not what I do, (I am a Methodist Minister), I am not who I am related to (I have 5 wonderful children, 2 lovely granddaughters and a grandson). I am a seeker truth, a partaker of life in all it's fullness and a follower, sometimes stumbling, sometimes celebrating of the Christian pathway. I seek wholeness, joy and a connectedness to all things through a deep reconciliation with the God whose love blows my socks off!

Hermeneutics and stuff…. Masha Amini and the Woman caught in adultery

I remember the time when I began formal studies and training to become a minister, setting me on the path to ordination, coming across the word hermeneutics. I spent ages learning how to spell it, and possibly longer trying to … Continue reading

In the in-between space ( pondering Luke 17: 11-19)

In the in-between place he met me, between certainty and doubt, acceptance and denial, brokenness and wholeness, he met me. + he met me in my wanderings and my meanderings, in this neither coming nor going space in the in-between … Continue reading

All this…..

I saw a photograph of myself today. I instantly hated it, it showed my as over-weight, I am over-weight, but the angle highlighted it. It was a photo of me welcoming nursery aged children to talk about what baptism is, … Continue reading
