Lent Day 31- The fool, trickster day…

April the first, trickster day,

calling us to encounter the non-duality of the fool,

the fool looks at life differently,

turns our suppositions on their heads,

and our hearts inside out,

exposing the shadowed contents

for us to see,

enter in, enter in they call to us,

and I will show you treasures in the darkness,

lead you on the road less travelled,

surprise you at every turn,

with trickster twists,

do not fear me,

just because I operate outside of the box,

and colour over the lines

so neatly laid out for you to follow,

look at the blossoms in the snow,

they are not complaining,

hear the laughter of children afresh, so free,

smell the roses,

dance in the rain,

follow the fool,

and find yourself in a new place,

if only for one day….

About Sally C

How do I describe myself, I am not what I do, (I am a Methodist Minister), I am not who I am related to (I have 5 wonderful children, 2 lovely granddaughters and 2 lovely grandsons). I am a seeker truth, a partaker of life in all it's fullness and a follower, sometimes stumbling, sometimes celebrating of the Christian pathway. I seek wholeness, joy and a connectedness to all things through a deep reconciliation with the God whose love blows my socks off! I love walking, swimming and photography, I dabble with paint and poetry...
