resisting- a bit of procrastination….

I am not dressed yet,

I need to go and post some cards,

but I am not dressed,

I am faffing about,

I know it,

I could have walked in the sunshine,

but waited for the rain as an excuse to stay in,

the cards still need posting,

and I am resisting,

why?

It’s not a difficult task,

the cards are written,

and have stamps already,

I have made my bed,

I have swept the floor,

but I have not got dressed,

not got out of the door….

what am I hiding from,

what am I resisting?

why am I resisting?

I did post the cards,

AND, I did some laundry!!!
