Conversation with myself

It’s a lovely day, I should go out for a walk…

You’ll have to get dressed then, but good idea..

Yes, that would be a good idea, but maybe I should check my emails first….

It’s your day off

I’ll just check my emails, ah, nobody has replied to me….. I wonder why not, have I upset everyone again?

Just go out for a walk, look the sun is shining, it will do you good

I ought to vacuum…

You just said you should go out for a walk….

Maybe I’ll just go back to bed…

So no vacuuming, and no walking, I am guessing no reading, no art, nothing that you enjoy…

I’ll just check my emails again

STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER, GET DRESSED, GET YOUR CAMERA AND GO OUT..

Okay, okay…

“God, grant me the Serenity,

To accept the things I cannot change.

Courage to change the things I can,

And Wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time,

Enjoying one moment at a time,

Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.

Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is,

Not as I would have it.

Trusting that He will make all things right

if I surrender to His will.

That I may be reasonably happy in this life,

And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

Amen.”

About Sally C

How do I describe myself, I am not what I do, (I am a Methodist Minister), I am not who I am related to (I have 5 wonderful children, 2 lovely granddaughters and 2 lovely grandsons). I am a seeker truth, a partaker of life in all it's fullness and a follower, sometimes stumbling, sometimes celebrating of the Christian pathway. I seek wholeness, joy and a connectedness to all things through a deep reconciliation with the God whose love blows my socks off! I love walking, swimming and photography, I dabble with paint and poetry...
