Don’t let my world shrink- a liturgy

Loving God, in the strangeness of these days, keep me mindful of others…

DON’T LET MY WORLD SHRINK

Help me to remember that your love is for your whole world, and that, that world still goes in beyond my shut in life

DON’T LET MY WORLD SHRINK

Help me to remember all frontline workers, and help me not to become world weary and retreat into myself…

DON’T LET MY WORLD SHRINK

Don’t let my world shrink, and help me to remember the expansiveness of your love…

FORGIVE MY SELFISH TENDENCIES

Don’t let my world shrink, and help me to remember the love I encounter in others

FORGIVE MY SELFISH TENDENCIES

Don’t let my world shrink, help me to see the beauty that you see, as seasons turn, and nature heals…

HELP ME TO RECEIVE YOUR LOVE

Don’t let my world shrink, and help me to see those who are still around me, to give what I can where I can, to food banks, to charities working in places where others will not go…

HELP ME TO SHARE YOUR LOVE

Don’t let my world shrink, for this world is your world, and you have created me to be a part of it

SO MAY I TAKE MY PLACE IN THE WORLD IN WHICH ALL SHARE, AND HELP ME TO FIGHT FOR JUSTICE, SHOW YOUR MERCY, SHARE YOUR LOVE.

May I show, the compassion, passion and kindness of Jesus, in my work, and prayers, and relationships, and in my whole way of life

DON’T LET MY WORLD SHRINK…

KEEP ME OPEN

KEEP ME MINDFUL

AMEN

About Sally C

How do I describe myself, I am not what I do, (I am a Methodist Minister), I am not who I am related to (I have 5 wonderful children, 2 lovely granddaughters and 2 lovely grandsons). I am a seeker truth, a partaker of life in all it's fullness and a follower, sometimes stumbling, sometimes celebrating of the Christian pathway. I seek wholeness, joy and a connectedness to all things through a deep reconciliation with the God whose love blows my socks off! I love walking, swimming and photography, I dabble with paint and poetry...
