I have never been separate from God

nor can I be….

I cannot be separate,

you cannot be separate,

so when my mind builds walls

between you and me,

and when I want to fight,

or flee,

we are still one,

I must breathe that deep,

breathe peace,

until I am peace

we are still loved,

I must breathe that deep,

breathe love

until I am loving,

we are still being healed,

I must breathe that deep,

breathe and receive

until healing flows from me,

and hope stirs anew….

so here I stand,

vulnerable,

fearful,

offering what I can,

offering myself,

for peace,

for love,

for healing,

for hope…
