here lies
a possibility,
a question unasked,
potential unlocked,
desires unrealised,
nor recognised,
here lies
a risk,
an unbidden opportunity,
perhaps an answered prayer (?)
do I cross the shadows
of my doubts and fears
take the risk,
grasp the opportunity
realise unlocked potential,
or do I turn away
again,
and let fear have its way…
