Ressurection ( Mary’ s reflection)

amidst earthquakes

and angels,

fear, fright,

and confusion,

oils with carefully selected

ointments and herbs

all thrown aside,

feet running,

questions churning,

hearts pounding,

tears blinding…

came one word

 spoken softly,

he called my name…

….

my name,

and I fell to my knees…

risen, he was risen,

as he’d promised…

….

risen from death,

from death to life,

I knelt on holy ground,

and he had called my name…

How do I describe myself, I am not what I do, (I am a Methodist Minister), I am not who I am related to (I have 5 wonderful children, 2 lovely granddaughters and 2 lovely grandsons). I am a seeker truth, a partaker of life in all it's fullness and a follower, sometimes stumbling, sometimes celebrating of the Christian pathway.
