I choose life,

a stand over all
the things that seek
to tear me down
to destroy,
the things both within me,
and around me

place myself into
life’s hands,
to enter in
behind the veil,
for there,
and only there
do I find
mercy, mercy
and grace
to help me
in this time of need,
I choose life,
I can choose life,
for Life has chosen me…
