I walk with shadows,

questions echo

in the

whispering darkness,

again, again,

emptying fullness,

sucking hopes dry,

I walk with shadows,

and imploding

all around me,

slipping through my fingers,

grains of sand

flung to the wind,

I walk with shadows,

yet I do not walk

in the stillness

at the empty point

of all

that is lost

I find myself accompanied

my heart is stirred

to beat

with the

rhythm of both earth

and heaven

all will be well,

all will be well,

hope will return

with joy and peace,

the sun will rise

a new day

will come…

today I walk with shadows

About Sally C

How do I describe myself, I am not what I do, (I am a Methodist Minister), I am not who I am related to (I have 5 wonderful children, 2 lovely granddaughters and 2 lovely grandsons). I am a seeker truth, a partaker of life in all it's fullness and a follower, sometimes stumbling, sometimes celebrating of the Christian pathway. I seek wholeness, joy and a connectedness to all things through a deep reconciliation with the God whose love blows my socks off! I love walking, swimming and photography, I dabble with paint and poetry...
