teach me to be,

to reflect light

as the moon reflects the sun,

as a puddle

on a grey day

picks up an unexpected shard

of light

and highlights it

in rainbow hues…

teach me to be still,

to wait for your work

of grace,

 to neither to strive

for it,

or to fake it,

but simply to allow

your being in my being…

teach me love in sorrow,

joy in pain,

new life in death,

resurrection possibilities

in every ending,

fresh power in each beginning…

teach me,

and let me be

I seek wholeness, joy and a connectedness to all things through a deep reconciliation with the God whose love blows my socks off! I love walking, swimming and photography, I dabble with paint and poetry...
